emmer is the storefront, order desk, and subscription engine for cottage food makers, popup chefs, and weekly drops. Standing orders that pay before you make a thing.
Running a weekly drop is exhausting on its own. You post the menu Monday, chase orders Tuesday through Thursday, make it all Friday night, hand off orders Saturday. Sunday you start again from zero.
What if you got Tuesday through Thursday back? emmer turns the people who already love you into standing weekly orders — quietly, in the background, on the same rhythm. Less marketing. Predictable income. The drop still feels like a drop.
Set up your storefront — products, quantity, pickup days. emmer turns the buyers who keep showing up into subscribers — automatically, right at checkout.
Add what you make. Set how many you can make and which days you sell them. Photos help but aren't required. Your storefront has its own URL you can share on Instagram, in a text, on a flyer taped to your door.
Loads fast no matter how old your customer's phone is.
1 / 3 Set the days you make. Pick an order window and a pickup window. Cap quantity so you don't end up with eighty orders to fill at 3am. Want a second drop on Wednesday for the office crowd? Add it.
Every purchase quietly invites buyers to make it a standing order — never a hard sell.
Saturday morning you open emmer and there's the list — buyers grouped by pickup slot, items pre-totalled, allergens flagged. Pack a bag, check the box. Text the slot when bags are ready.
Print the same list if you'd rather work off paper.
Same bag, every Saturday. Skip any week, free. Cancel anytime — one tap.
When a buyer's already at checkout — bag selected, card out, in the mood — emmer offers them a subscription right there. You don't have to ask, follow up, or DM anyone.
Skip any week, free. Cancel any time. Nothing in your way, nothing in theirs.
Predictable for you. Flexible for them. Capped so the math always works. The three things drops alone can't promise — built in.
Subscribers reserve their bag for every drop. They don't reorder. You don't chase them. The order's already in by Friday night.
Going camping? Out of town? They tap skip and pay nothing. The subscription keeps going. No-commitment makes commitment easier.
Set a max per drop. Subscribers get their spots before public orders open. You never oversell. You never scramble at 3am to cover a promise you didn't mean to make.
No monthly subscription. No setup fee. Your buyer covers our 5% + 55¢ fee at checkout. Card processing — 2.9% + 30¢ — comes out of your payout.
Your buyer covers the platform fee at checkout. Card processing is the only cost that comes out of your payout.
Card processing is the standard online rate. Fees are never charged on tax or tips.
A handful of founding makers run their whole drop on emmer. We watch their Saturdays so we know what to build next.
I was running orders out of Instagram DMs and a Google Form. Saturday I'd be in the kitchen with my phone in flour, trying to figure out who paid and who didn't. Six weeks in on emmer and 18 of my regulars are subscribed. I wake up Friday already knowing what I'm baking.
Pickup days used to take all day. Now I print one sheet from the app, pack by slot, and I'm done by noon.
My first three subscribers signed up the same week we switched. I didn't have to ask any of them — emmer made the offer at checkout.
Subscribers cover the booth fee before the market opens. The rest of the day is pure upside.
New makers joining each week. We'll keep adding them here.

Yes — and we recommend it. Export your customer list as a CSV from wherever you are now and we'll import it for you, names, emails, phone numbers, and order history. Your existing buyers get a one-time announcement that you've moved to emmer, with a link to your new storefront. We don't spam them and they're never shared with anyone.
The actual switching part — pointing buyers at the new storefront URL — takes one Instagram post. You can launch your first drop the same day.
No. Subscriptions are an option at checkout, never a requirement. Most of your buyers will still order one drop at a time — that's exactly how drops are supposed to work. The subscription path is there for the regulars who want to lock in a standing order.
Cancel the week's drop with one tap. Subscribers are notified automatically — no charge runs for that week, their next bag rolls to the following Saturday. No emails to write, no money to refund.
Two business days after pickup. Money lands in the bank account you connected at signup. You can see exactly what's coming and when from your dashboard.
Subscribers are charged the night before each drop, so subscription income hits your account the Monday after.
No. Your emmer storefront is your website. It comes with its own URL (your-brand.emmer.app) and renders fast on every phone. If you have a custom domain you'd rather use — say, hollanderpantry.com — point it at emmer and it works the same.
No monthly fee. No setup fee. Your buyer pays a 5% + 55¢ fee on each order at checkout. Card processing (2.9% + 30¢) comes out of your payout. Nothing else.
Set up your storefront in an afternoon. Run your first drop this Saturday. Wake up next Friday knowing what's already sold.
